Savar-- (UNB) - The Statistics Department beat Geology Department by 10 wickets in the Jahangirnagar University Inter-department Cricket Competition yesterday .

Winning the toss, Geology Department batted first and were bundled out for 61 runs with Hasan and Imran making 12 and 9 runs respectively.

In reply, the Statistics Department easily reached the target in only 10 overs without losing any wicket.

Maksud made 26 runs for the winners.
