Dhaka (UNB) - A 14-member Indian cricket team arrived here today (Tuesday) to play the historic Dutch-Bangla Test match against debutante Bangladesh billed for November 10-14. Bangladesh Cricket Board general secretary Syed Ashraful Haq received the Indian team as they reached the airport at 2:05 pm by a Bangladesh Biman flight from Calcutta. However, there was no crowd in the airport to see the Indian cricket heroes like world's one of the best batsman Sachin Tendulkar and Bengali Sourav Ganguly, known as Prince of Calcutta. Ganguly will lead the youthful Indian team with four test debutantes - teenage opening batsman Shivsundar Das, fast bowler Zahir Khan, top order batsman Yuvraj Singh and wicket keeper Saba Karim. The Indian skipper, who is now in good form in one-day cricket, also makes his debut as captain in the test cricket in the inaugural test match of Bangladesh. Indian team: Sourav Ganguly (captain), Sachin Tendulkar, Rahul Dravid, Shivsundar Das, Sadagoppan Ramesh, VVS Laxman, Yuvraj Singh, Saba Karim, Sunil Joshi, Zahir Khan, Ajit Agarkar, Javagal Srinath, Venkatesh Prasad and Murali Kartik.
