Dhaka-- (UNB) - Rajshahi University earned a facile 98-run victory over Islami University in the Inter-University Cricket competition at the Jahangirnagar University playground yesterday (Tuesday).

Winning the toss, Rajshahi University batted first and scored 180 runs for 8 in 40 overs and later they dismissed Islami University for only 82 runs in 31 overs.

Tito of Rajshahi University, who scored 25 runs and captured three wickets for 11 runs, was adjudged man of the match.

Brief score: Rajshahi University - 180 for 8 in 40 overs. Badsha 29, Tito 25, Palash 21, Ripon 16, Walid 3/11 and Azad 2/19.

Islami University : 82 all out in 31 overs. Akhter 17, Mizan 12, Sajjad 12, Tito 3/11, Nazmul 3/22.
