Dhaka-- (UNB) – The 16th council meeting of the National Sports Council (NSC) will be held on Sunday (November 19) at the NSC conference room.

State Minister for Youth, Sports and Cultural Affairs Obaidul Quader, who is also the chairman of NSC, will preside over the meeting.

More then 100 representatives from national sports federations and district and divisional sports associations are likely to participate in the meeting being held after three years.

The meeting will approve a constitution for local sports bodies like upazila, district and divisional sports associations, and discussed on formulation of a constitution for the national sports federations.

It will also discuss the implementation of national sports policy and take some decisions on sports development, training and coaching, talent hunting and sports infrastructure.
