2 teams of BCB XI announced for last matches vs Aussie boys |

Dhaka-- (UNB)- Bangladesh Cricket Board yesterday announced two separate teams of BCB XI to play last two limited-over matches against touring Commonwealth Bank Cricket Academy of Australia on January 24 and 25 at the Bangabandhu National Stadium. National captain Naimur Rahman Durjoy will lead the BCB XI for the second day night one-day encounter on January 24 against the famous Australian Cricket Academy, which already pocketed two wins in the tour. The team: Nafis Iqbal, Mehrab Hossain, Naimur Rahman (captain), Sazzad Ahmed, Hasanuzzaman, Mushfiqur Rahman, Anwar Hossain (wicket-keeper), Fahim Muntasir, Ashfaq Ali, Bikas Ranjan Das, Sarfuddoulah Saikat, Rajin Saleh Alam and Asadullah Khan. Coach: Sarwar Imran. The players have been asked to report at the game venue on January 24 at 11am. Former national skipper Akram Khan have been named captain for the last one-dayer on January 25 against the trainee Australian boys at the same venue. The team: Javed Omar Belim, Mohammad Ashraful, Habibul Bashar, Akram Khan (captain), Sanwar Hossain, Anisur Rahman, Mushfiqur Rahman, Golam Mortuza (wicket-keeper), Mohammad Rafique, Saiful Islam, Mohammad Sharif, Nasirul Alam and Sazzadul Hasan Setu. Coach: Sarwar Imran. The selected players have been requested to report at the game venue on January 25 at 11am. Meanwhile, recent past national skipper Aminul Islam Bulbul will lead the BCB squad for the first day-night limited over match in Dhaka on January 23 against the same opponent. The team: Nafiz Iqbal Khan, Ehsanul Haque Seezan, Al Shahriar Rokon, Aminul Islam Bulbul, Tusher Imran, Mohammad Ashraful, Enamul Haque Moni, Mukthar Hossain (wicket-keeper), Shabbir Hossain, Manjurul Islam, Aminul Islam Bhola, Shahfiuddin Ahmed Babu and Mazharul Haque Mridul. Coach: Sarwar Imran. The players have been asked to report at the Banglabandhu Stadium at 11am on the match day. |
