44 cricketers changed clubs on 2nd day of 4-day transfer schedule |

Dhaka-- (UNB) – Fortyfour cricketers changed their clubs on the second day of the four-day inter club players transfer for the ensuing Metropolis Premier Division Cricket League. The main attraction of the otherwise tame second day was the switching over of former national batsman Sajjad Ahmed Shipon from Victoria SC to Surjo Tarun Club SC. Other notable transfers of the day were: Selim Shahed of Gopibagh FA to Agrani Bank, Zakir Hossain of Abahani to Sadharan Bima, Ashraful Islam Russel of Uttara SC and Mehdi Hasan of Khelaghar SKS to Mohammedan, Mohammed Saeem and Saleh Ahmed Sohel of Biman to Brothers Union while Sajid Hasan, Jewel Hossain Mona and Al Amin of City Club, and Shahnewaj Kabir Shuvro and Towhid Hossain Shyamol of Victoria to Young Cricketers. On the first day (Tuesday), eightyfour cricketers took part in the transfer formalities for the Premier League, including nine on commission. |
