Dhaka-- (UNB)- Hazrat Shah Ali Model High School, Saint Judes International School and Progoti High School earned massive victory over their respective rivals in the National School Cricket Championship yesterday (Saturday). Hazrat Shah Ali Model High School smashed Syedbagh High School by 156 runs at the City Club Ground. Batting first, Hazrat Shah Ali Model High School scored mammoth 271 runs for 3 wickets in stipulated 35 overs and in reply, Syedbagh were bundled out for only 115 runs in 25 overs. At the Dhanmondi Club ground, Saint Judes International School outplayed BADC High School by 8 wickets. The winners scored 126 runs for 2 wickets in 19.1 overs in reply to the loser’s 123 runs for all in 22.1 overs. Progoti High School defeated Natun Jurain KM Mainuddin High School by 8 wickets at the Dhanmondi Cricket Stadium. Natun Jurain scored 185 runs for 8 in stipulated 35 overs while Progoti reached the target making 187 runs for 2 wickets in 29.4 overs. |
