Jessore earned 2nd successive victory in National Youth Cricket |

Dhaka-- (UNB)- Jessore DSA earned the second successive victory in the final round of the 20th National Youth Cricket Championship beating Rajshahi DSA by 3 runs in Thakurgaon yesterday (Monday). Jessore District Sports Association, who outplayed Habiganj DSA by six wickets in the first match, scored 156 runs for all in 49.5 overs after deciding to bat first. Opener Jony made team highest 38 runs off 51 balls with six fours while number seven batsman Masud added 26 off 45 deliveries. Mustakim claimed three wickets for 28 runs while Tony took two for 27 runs. In reply, Rajshahi DSA were all out for 153 runs with seven balls to spare. Opener Sumon made 54 runs off 133 balls. Raju picked up four wickets conceding 29 runs while Masud captured three for 22 runs for Jessore. |
