AK School outplayed Sher-e-Bangla School in National School Cricket |

Dhaka-- (UNB)-AK High School outplayed Sher-e-Bangla High School by huge 201 runs in the National School Cricket Championship at the Kalabagan Krira Chakra ground yesterday (Monday). Opted to bat first, AK High School scored a towering 289 runs for 8 wickets in stipulated 50 overs and Sher-e-Bangla High School were bundled out for 88 runs in 20.3 overs to swallow the heavy defeat. At the Dhanmondi Cricket Stadium, Siddeshwari Boys earned a comfortable nine-wicket victory over Mastermind School. Mastermind scored paltry 112 runs for all in 30.3 overs and in reply, Siddeshwari easily reached the target of 113 runs losing one wicket in 16.5 overs. Khilgaon Government High School defeated Provati Kindergarten School by 53 runs at PIG. Batting first, Khilgaon Government scored 131 for all in 34.2 overs while Provati were all out for 78 in 23 overs. At the Dhanmondi club ground, Uttara High School beat Maniknagar Model High School by four wickets. Maniknagar Model made 150 runs for 8 in fixed 35 overs after deciding to bat first. In reply, Uttara High School reached the target of 151 runs losing six wickets in 27.5 overs. At the Mirpur outer stadium, Khalilur Rahman School beat Bidyaniketon Pre-Cadet by 21 runs. Khalilur Rahman School scored 206 runs for 9 wickets in stipulated 35 overs while Bidyaniketon made 185 for 6 wickets in fixed 35 overs. |
