Rayerbazar wins over Moonlight at National School Cricket |

Dhaka-- (UNB) – A blistering ton by Siper guided Rayerbazar High School to earn huge 265 runs victory over Moonlight K&H School in the 19th Standard Chartered National School Cricket Championship yesterday (Tuesday). Siper belted 26 boundaries and two over boundaries facing 107 balls to score 169 runs helping Rayerbazar School make 345 runs for 3 wickets in stipulated 35 overs at the Dhanmondi Cricket Stadium. Rony was another notable scorer making 83 off 69 balls. Chasing the huge total, Moonlight K&H School scored 80 for 8 wickets in 22.2 overs. Two of their batsmen did not appear on the ground. Karim picked up four wickets for 17 runs. At the City Club ground, Bangladesh Adarsha Shikkha Niketon (BASN) outplayed Dhaka Blue Sky Pre-Cadet High School by 191 runs. Batting first, BASN scored 256 runs for 9 wickets in fixed 35 overs. In reply, Dhaka Blue Sky were all out for 69 runs in 19.5 overs. At the Dhanmondi Club ground, Motijheel Government High School beat Motijheel Model High School by 61 runs. Batting first, Motijheel Govt High School scored 162 runs for all in 25.3 overs and in reply, Motijheel Model High School were all out for 101 runs in 23.4 overs. |
