Steve Waugh set another Test record as the tourists gain the upper hand against New Zealand in Wellington.
The Australian captain's unbeaten 151 made him the only player to score at least 150 against all the rival Test nations.
The tourists made 419 in their first innings, replying to New Zealand's 298. |

The home side then made 189 for five for a lead of 68, thanks to a spectacular counter-attacking 61 not out by Chris Cairns.
The innings was Waugh's 10th Test 150, three of them having come during Australia's current unbeaten eight-match winning streak since October.
"It's nice to have the record and that will take some beating," said Waugh afterwards.
"I didn't realise it last night until someone mentioned it but it makes all the effort worthwhile.
"I pride myself on getting big hundreds when I get there and I think you owe it to yourself to go on and get a big score."
The Australian innings also saw Damien Martyn reach his highest Test score of 78, as he and Waugh extended their sixth wicket partnership to 114.
Martyn was caught behind off Craig McMillan, who also took a return catch to remove Colin Miller as the home side took four wickets for 22 runs.
Shayne O'Connor grabbed the other two, Adam Gilchrist being caught behind and Brett Lee trapped lbw.
But Glenn McGrath prolonged the home side's agony by adding 33 with Waugh until he was also caught and bowled by Cairns for 14 just before lunch.
The Kiwi all-rounder, who made a first innings 109 before taking three wickets, was soon back in the action, rescuing the home side from 84 for five.
Cairns hit six sixes, three of them off Shane Warne and two off Brett Lee.
There were also three fours as Cairns and captain Stephen Fleming (53no) put on an unbeaten 105 for the sixth wicket.
Warne and Lee had already taken two wickets each and looked set to tie up a quick victory before Cairns and Fleming came together.
Lee ended an opening stand of 46 by bowling Matt Horne and three balls later bowled an unplayable yorker to Matthew Sinclair (0).
Opener Craig Spearman played courageously, being struck three times by strike bowler McGrath without flinching.
But seconds before tea he was caught bat-pad at short leg by Justin Langer off spinner Miller for 38.
After the interval Warne got in on the act bowling Nathan Astle with a flipper for 14.
The next ball he enticed McMillan to top-edge a sweep for a dolly catch to Mark Waugh.
That brought Cairns to the crease, and his brave counter-attack cheered the home crowd after a day of Australian dominance.
