The UN Information Center in Dhaka will give prizes to quiz and painting competitions.
Meanwhile, a number of sports journalists and cricket lovers expressed their dissent over the selection of writer of the key note paper to be presented during the seminar on april 5. It was alleged that the co-ordinator of the programme himself selected the writer overlooking a number of celebrated cricket personalities of the country. The co-ordinator defended his action to media people and said that the writer has a vast experience of covering international matches. But in reality there were more experienced journalists who covered more international matches than the said writer. Even a leading official of BCB expressed his surprise over the selection process and said that it could have done after a discussion with the all concerned people.
