7, 2000 Bangladesh
A cricket team will take on hosts Malaysia Kilat Aman ground in the
inaugural match of the tri-nation one-day tournament to be held Kuala
Lumpur from March 17 to 23. In
the double-league format, Bangladesh will meet Namibia in their next match
the following day. Bangladesh
will meet Malaysia again on March 20 and Namibia on March 21 to complete
their first round engagements. The
final between the top two teams from the first round is scheduled for
March 23. Although,
USA were supposed to take part in the invitational tourney as per a
previous announcement made by Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB). But the
Americans confirmed their-availability. BCB
has announced a 14 member Bangladesh team with all-rounder Naimur Rahman
