Exhibition cricket match with International Eleven on Saturday |

28, 2000 Dhaka, Apr 27 (UNB) – As part of the centenary celebration of Wari Club, the Cricket Committee of Dhaka Metropolis (CCDM) Eleven will play an exhibition cricket match with International Eleven on Saturday at the Bangabandhu National Stadium. Former national skipper Akram Khan will lead the CCDM Eleven consists of national cricketers while Tariq Mahmood is likely to be the captain of International Eleven comprising foreign players now playing in the Dhaka League. Winners of the match sponsored by Gazi Tank will get Tk 40,000 while the losing side will receive Tk 30,000. Man of the match will get Tk 3,000. Co-Chairman of the Wari Club Centenary Celebration Committee Mozaffar Hossain Paltu briefed newsmen about the match at a press conference at the club house today (Thursday). Secretary General of the celebration organizing committee Mahmudur Rahman Momin and CCDM Chairman Tanveer Haider also spoke on the occasion. The price of ticket is fixed at Tk 10 for gallery, Tk 200 for VIP gallery, Tk 5,000 for AC box and Tk 4,000 for non-AC box. CCDM Eleven: Akram Khan(Captain), Shahriar Hossain Biddut, Mehrab Hossain Opee, Javed Omar Balim Golla, Habibul Basher Sumon, Naiumur Rahman Durjoy, Khaled Mahmud Sujan, Mohammad Rafique, Khaled Mashud Pilot (wicket-keeper), Halim Shah, Hasibul Hossain Shanta, Manjurul Haque Manju, Enamul Haq Moni and Mushfiqur Rahman Babu.
