Fast bowler Franklyn Rose will replace West Indies team mate Courtney
Walsh in the International Cricket Council's (ICC) one-day international
in Bangladesh on Saturday, the Caribbean News Agency (CANA) reported on
Monday.
Rose, who was named man-of-the-series in the test matches against Zimbabwe
last month, will play for the Rest of the World XI against an Asian XI in
Dhaka.
Walsh, who surpassed Kapil Dev's world record of 434 test wickets last
Monday, had agreed to replace Curly Ambrose in the World XI side, but has
withdrawn because of a finger injury.
