Dhaka, May 11 (UNB)- John Reid of New Zealand have been appointed match referee for the forthcoming 7^th Pepsi Asia Cup Cricket to be held at the Bangabandhu National Stadium from May 28.

Eight umpires have also been selected for the four-nation prestigious cricket tournament comprising two from the host country, Syed Mahbub Ullah and AFM Akhter Uddin Shahin.

Other umpires are: Saleem Badar and Nazir (Junior) of Pakistan, BC Coory and Asoka de Silva of Sri Lanka, and S Venkataraghavan and AV Jayaprakash of India.
