Eddie Barlow improving fast |

Dhaka, May 17 (UNB) - BCB President Saber Hossain Chowdhury believes that Bangladesh cricket would soon get the service of coach Eddie Barlow who is now improving fast.
The Cricket Board supreme expressed the optimism at a press briefing today (Wednesday) on his return from a successful test status campaign to Australia and New Zealand.
“I believe he will gradually recover and again do his job here,” Saber said adding that Eddie’s condition is now constantly improving and he will leave Singapore for home within short time.
Replying to a question the BCB President said that he don’t think the chapter of Eddie Barlow is closed.
Saber said the South African coach is scheduled to go home on a two-month (June-July) leave, so actually his absence will not be a huge setback for Bangladesh.
The elderly cricket coach who has been suffering from various heart complications is now undergoing treatment in Singapore. |
