Dhaka, May 31 (UNB)- Bangladesh made ever best total of 249 runs against giant India in the 7^th Pepsi Asia Cup Cricket at the Bangabandhu National Stadium today (Wednesday).

The earlier best against the same opponent was 190 for all in the Independence Cup in 1996 at the same venue.

They had also crossed the earlier best in the Asia Cup against India when they scored 170 runs for all in the 4^th Asia Cup in Chandigarh in 1990.

Bangladesh’s highest one-day score is 257 against Zimbabwe. Bangladesh, a test status contender, made their lowest total of 92 runs, also against the same opponent in Nairobi in 1997.
