Bangladesh seeks support from England |

DHAKA - Bangladesh is seeking support from England in its bid to win test status at next week's meeting of the International Cricket Council (ICC) at Lord's.
"We have received support from eight countries out of nine required to earn the test status so we are optimistic about having that status at the ICC conference on Monday," said Bangladesh Cricket Board president Hossain Chowdhury on Wednesday.
"We are just short of one vote and I hope they (England) will be convinced to back it (Bangladesh's bid) up." |
