Bangladesh meet Pakistan on their home ground |

(UNB) - Bangladesh will take on giant Pakistan in the inaugural match of
the Asian Cricket Council Under-17 Tournament at the National Stadium in
Karachi on Saturday. The
Bangladesh youth team, placed in pool A with hosts Pakistan, Nepal, Kuwait
and the Maldives, has set an initial target to play in the final of the
10-team prestigious ACC meet. Sri
Lanka, the United Arab Emirates, Malaysia, Singapore and Saudi Arabia are
also in the tournament and placed in Pool B. Test-debutante
Bangladesh’s youngsters will meet Nepal on July 19, the Maldives on July
20 and Kuwait on July 21 in the Pakistan port city of Karachi’s
different venues. Meanwhile, Bangladesh under-17 team have played two warm up matches in Dhaka and Karachi and won both the encounters comprehensively.
