Cox’s Bazar (UNB)- Newly appointed Bangladesh national team captain Naimur Rahman Durjoy has said practice in the beach will help them improve their fitness. His remarks came when a 24-member national cricket team arrived here last (Sunday) morning from Dhaka. Later in the afternoon, the team had an hour-long practice in the sea. They played handball and swam in the sea as part of their practice. They will return to the city after their weeklong conditioning camp in the world’s largest sea beach on August 27. Coaches Imran Sarwar and Dipu Roy Chowdhury aided by physiotherapist Gavin Bengafield are conducting the conditioning camp as part of the preparation to participate in the Knockout World Cup Cricket to be held in Kenya in October. |
