Dhaka, May 18 (UNB) – Bangladesh Football Federation today selected 25 booters to form a national youth team for the qualifying round of the 9^th Asian Youth Under-16 Football Championship, due June next in the Indian town of Jamshedpur. 

The national sectors picked up the 25 players after a weeklong residential camp with 34 booters at BKSP. A 20-member final squad would be announced later, said a BFF press release today (Thursday). 

Selected footballers are: Goalkeeper - Amjad  (Chalantika), Mustafizur Rahman (Dhaka Abahani) and Moshiur Rahman (BKSP); 

Right Back - Siraji (BKSP) and Ahsan Kabir Shamim  (Netrakona);

Left Back - M Tarek (Chalantika) and M Hassan (BKSP);

Stopper Back: Kochi, Hadi (PWD), Mohan, Ruku (BKSP), Ferdous Alam Murad (Chuadanga) and Aminul (Gazipur);

Mid-field - Al Amin, Polo ( Ctg Abahani), Kaiser (Victoria),   Pappu (Dhaka Abahani), Shah Alam (City Club), Parvez (Dhaka Mohammedan), Masudul Islam Masud (Shantinagar) and Saiful (Arambag);

Forwards - Uzzal (Badda Jagarani), Sohel (Dhaka Abahani),  Syed Hossain Surat (BKSP) and Masud (Cox’s Bazar).
