 Dhaka,
      (UNB) – Bangladesh Army advanced to the final of the 21st
      Sher-e-Bangla Cup National Football Championship dethroning holders Dhaka
      University by 3-1 goals in tie breaker at Noakhali yesterday (Tuesday).    The
      first semi-final between the two teams was locked 1-1 during the
      stipulated time at the Noakhali Shaheed Bhulu Stadium this afternoon.   The Army team will play the final on Friday against the winners of Chittagong DSA and host Noakhali, who will meet in the second semi-final tomorrow (Wednesday)   In
      the day’s semis, Partha put Dhaka University ahead in the 22nd
      minute while Rafiqul Islam of Army restored parity in the 51st
      minute.   In
      the tie-breaking session, Mizanur Rahman, Faruque and Nasir of Army
      converted the spot kicks correctly while Iqbal Hossain was the only
      ‘Varsity booter to score from penalty.   Yellow
      cards: Faruque (Army) and Mustafa (Dhaka University).
