National youth team leaves for India |

Dhaka, (UNB) A 25-member national youth football team leaves here for Calcutta Sunday to participate in the 9th Asian Youth Under-16 Football tournament.
The four-nation group meet will be held in the Indian city of Jamshedpur from June 20-30 with India taking on arch rival Pakistan in the opening match.
Mizanur Rahman Al-Amin, a linkman of Victoria SC, has been made captain while Badda Jagarani striker Mehdi Hasan Ujjal named vice-captain of the Bangladesh team comprising 20 booters and five officials.
Bangladesh have been placed in Group-4 of the Asian youth soccer meet with three other SAARC nations India, Pakistan and Sri Lanka.
Fixture of the tournament has partly been changed as another team of the group Bhutan withdrew from the meet in the last moment.
Bangladesh will play their first match against Sri Lanka on Wednesday (June 21), Pakistan on Saturday (June 24) and India on Tuesday (June 27) in the group engagements.
Bangladesh team: players - Amjad Hossain, Mustafizur Rahman Munna, Moshiur Rahman Moshi, Mohiuddin Ibnul Siraji Sajib, Mahbubul Alam Polo, Mohammad Tarek, Nafizur Rahman Kachi, Rafiquzzaman Mohan, Rafiqul Islam Ruku, Aminul Islam, Mizanur Rahman Al Amin, Rashed Ahmed Pappu, Khaled Saifullah Saiful, Masud Parvez Kaiser, Abdullah Al Parvez Salas, Masudul Islam Masud, Mehdi Hasan Ujjal, Anwarul Karim Sohel, Syed Hossain Surat and Masud Alam.
Officials : Team Leader Khandakar Anwarul Islam, Deputy Leader Moinul Islam Moyna, Manager- Golam Sarwar Tipu, Coach Pranab Kumar Dey Bhanu and Physio Dr Mahfuzullah Chisty.
