(UNB) - Bangladesh made a good start in the group-4 qualifying round of
the Ninth Asian Youth Under-16 Football Championship beating Sri Lanka by
a solitary goal in the Indian city of Jamshedpur yesterday (Wednesday). Captain
Al Amin, the Victoria Sporting Club midfielder, netted the all-important
goal in the 30th minute, according to a message received here. Bangladesh
will play their next match against Pakistan on Saturday and take on India
on Tuesday in their last group match.
