Team announced for 9th Asian Youth football |

Dhaka (UNB) – Bangladesh Football Federation yesterday (Sunday) announced a 20–member national youth team to take part in the final round of the 9th Asian Youth Under–16 football championship to be held in Vietnam on September 3-17. Earlier, Bangladesh earned the right to play in the 10-team final round of the prestigious meet as the Group-4 champions eliminating host India in the qualifying round in Jamshedpur. The other nine participating teams: China, Iran, Japan, Kuwait, Oman, Myanmar, Nepal, Tailand and host Vietnam. Bangladesh team: Mustafizur Rahman Munna, Mohammad Tarek, Nafizur Rahman Kachi, Raquibul Islam Ruku, Rafiquzzaman Mohan, Moshiur Rahman Siraji, Mahboob Alam Polo, Aminul Islam, SM Hadiuzzaman, Masud Parvez Kaiser, Masudul Islam, Syed Hossain Surat, Zia, Tarek, Mamun, Sumon, Rizvi, Tutul, Ujjal and Dalim. Standby: Al Amin, Rashed Ahmed Pappu, Saiful, Sohel and Ripon. The Bangladesh team is undergoing intensive training under coach Pranab Kumar Dey Bhanu at the Mirpur Sher-e-Bangla National Stadium. |
