New Bulgarian football coach for Bangladesh |

(UNB) – Yordan Ivanov Stoykov of Bulgaria was yesterday (Wednesday)
appointed new footbal coach of Bangladesh Krira Shikkha Protisthan (BKSP). Stoykov, appointed for a one-year-contract, will train the junior football team of the BKSP and if needed, extend his services to the national team. He
will get US$35,000 per month for his new assignment with the BKSP. The
50-year-old coach earlier trained age group teams in Tanzania, Libya, Iran
and Maldives, as well as a provincial team of China. Stoykov
played for Bulgarian national team in 15 international matches before
becoming a FIFA coach. The
new coach paid a courtesy call on State Minister for Youth, Sports and
Cultural Affairs Obaidul Quader and vowed to improve the standard of the
BKSP footballers. BKSP
