Agrani beat Mirpur in soccer league |

Dhaka
(UNB)- Agrani Bank recorded their second win in the Metropolis First
Division Football League defeating Mirpur Chalantika SC by 3-0 goals at the
Bangabandhu National Stadium yesterday. After
the day’s well-merited victory, the bankers’ team collected eight points
from four matches as they had earlier earned two points against BRTC in a
tie-breaker decided match. Mirpur
Chalantika bagged three points from same number of outings with one win
against PWD Sporting Club in their opening encounter. In
yesterday’s match, the winners led the first half 2-0 as Sohag put his
team ahead in the sixth minute from a Monir cross and Pikul doubled the
margin in the 12th minute from a throw by Monir. Pikul
netted another goal in the 42nd minute of the second half from a
Rabi cross. |
