Dhaka (UNB)- Mirpur Chalantika SC managed a solitary goal victory over PWD SC in the opening match of the Metropolis First Division Football League at the Sher-e-Bangla National Stadium in Mirpur yesterday (Saturday).

Didar scored the all important goal for Chalantika SC in the 28^th minute.

In the day’s other match, Youngmens’ Club Fakirerpool beat Sadharan Bima KS also by 1-0 goal at the same venue this evening.

Quader Mollah scored the match-winning goal for Fakirerpool in the 73rd minute.
