Korea donates polio vaccines |

Dhaka (UNB) – The Republic of Korea will provide Bangladesh polio vaccines worth 1.5 lakh US dollars as grant.
Korean Ambassador Young Joo Jong gave the proposal when he called on Health and Family Welfare Minister Sheikh Fazlul Karim Selim yesterday.
The Health Minister thanked the Ambassador for the proposal terming South Korea a real friend of Bangladesh, said an official handout.
He expressed the hope that cooperation between Bangladesh and the Republic of Korea would grow further in the coming days.
While discussing various aspects of health sector of Bangladesh, the Ambassador assured of continued support from his country in this sector.
He also showed interest in establishing private sector hospital in Bangladesh.
