Dhaka (UNB) – A 5-day national workshop on Radiation Protection and Assurance on Radiotherapy began at the Atomic Energy Commission auditorium here yesterday (Tuesday). Health and Family Welfare Minister Sheikh Fazlul Karim Selim was present as chief guest in the inaugural session of the workshop. Science and Technology Secretary M Fazlur Rahman chaired the session, said a press release. IAEA resource person Dr Malcom Millar was present as special guest in the workshop jointly organised by Atomic Security and Radiation Control Department and Bangladesh Atomic Energy Commission. |
