Dhaka (UNB) – A five-day inter-country workshop on Strategies for Blood Donor Recruitment begins at Hotel Sheraton here on Sept 24 aiming to achieve blood safety globally. Representatives from Southeast Asian countries, WHO Headquarters and regional office at Delhi will participate in the workshop to be organised by World Health Organisation (WHO). The participating countries will share some of their success stories and present action plans on national blood donor programme in the workshop, said a WHO press release yesterday. |
