The Speaker said the state could not yet take effective measures to fulfil the basic needs of all citizens though the Constitution ensured their five basic needs. He said medicare facilities are not easily available to the common people while specialised treatment facilities are hardly available to many. “A huge number of people go abroad for treatment spending huge foreign exchange due to lack of confidence in the local treatment” the Speaker said. He hoped that with the establishment such laboratories the country would be able to produce experts in ear microsurgery. |
