What
Baby Can See
Babies
can see immediately after birth, although they initially only
focus within a very narrow range. A baby can focus on
objects held within 25cm ( 10in) of his face. Despite his
limited focusing, a baby will flinch or try to protect himself
if you move something rapidly towards him.
Your
baby cannot see colors at all to begin with, as the first colors he will respond to will be bright ones, give him
brightly colored objects to look at.
