Dhaka (UNB) - The 3rd Beijing biennial meeting of SAARC Women Affairs Ministers begins in the Maldives tomorrow (Tuesday) to review the progress of the declaration of the 4th world conference on women.
The 4th conference, held in Beijing, had made a declaration seeking peace, equity, and progress of women.
A four-member delegation, led by State Minister for Women and Children Affairs Prof Zinatun Nesa Talukdar, today left for Male to attend the meeting organised by United Nations Fund for Women Development (UNIFEM), said an official handout.
