Dhaka-- (UNB) – The price index at the Dhaka Stock Exchange marked fall yesterday (Tuesday) with the losers outnumbering the gainers.

The DSE All Share Price Index shed by 1.01 points or 0.15 per cent to close at 630.95 points from Monday’s 631.96 points.

Of the 150 listed securities traded yesterday, 46 gained, 79 declined and 25 remained unchanged.

Some 2,309,368 shares and debentures valued at Tk 14.29 crore changed hands as against 2,398,898 shares worth Tk 14.78 crore on the previous trading day.

Beximco Pharma (748,800), Bionic Food (341,000) and ACI (147,550) were among the day’s volume leaders.

Market capitalisation stood at Tk 59.88 billion from Monday’s Tk 59.98 billion.
