Dhaka-- (UNB) – The main index at Dhaka Stock Exchange posted a gain of 2.20 points yesterday (Wednesday) as the gainers outnumbered the losers.

The DSE All Share Price Index rose by 0.34 per cent or 2.20 points to close at 633.15 points from Tuesday’s 630.95 points.

Of the 152 listed securities traded yesterday , 69 gained, 58 declined and 25 remained unchanged.

Some 2,423,733 shares and debentures valued at Tk 15.78 crore changed hands as against 2,309,368 shares worth Tk 14.29 crore on the previous trading day.

Beximco Pharma (640,050), AIMS first Mutual Fund (205,000), Chic Textile (166,500), Miracle Ind (125,000), ACI (108,050) and Fuwang (106,000) were among the day’s volume leaders.

Market capitalisation stood at Tk 60.09 billion from Tk 59.88 billion on Tuesday.
