Dhaka (UNB) – Finance Minister Shah AMS Kibria returned home yesterday (Wednesday) after attending 55th annual meeting of the World Bank-IMF, in Prague, capital of the Czech Republic.

He led a six-member Bangladesh delegation at the annual meeting.

During the visit the Finance Minister had separate meetings with World Bank President James Wolfensohn, IMF Managing Director Horst Kohlar, Indian Finance Minister Yoshwant Sinha and German Federal Minister for Economic Cooperation and Development Heidemarie Wieczorek-Zeul.

On his way to home, the Finance Minister had a meeting with Ambassador and high officials of Bangladesh Mission in London.
