FBCCI delegates called on Foreign Minister |

Dhaka (UNB) – A 10-member delegation of Federation of Bangladesh Chambers of Commerce and Industry called on Foreign Minister Abdus Samad Azad here yesterday. The delegation led by FBCCI President Abdul Awal Minto apprised the minister of the outcome of their recent visit to Bhutan and Sikim of India. They requested him to take appropriate steps toward trade balance and setting up Bangladesh visa offices in the Indian states of Meghalaya, Shilchar and Shilong. They also exchanged views on opening a road communication between China and Bangladesh via Myanmar. The Foreign Minister sought cooperation from the private sector in conducting economic and diplomatic activities and creating an atmosphere conducive to economic development. |
