Chittagong (UNB) – The main index at the Chittagong Stock Exchange closed higher yesterday (Saturday) with the gainers outnumbering the losers. The CSE All Share Price Index rose by 12.25 points or 0.90 percent to close at 1368.92 points from Thursday’s 1356.67 points. Of the 52 listed securities traded yesterday, 37 gained, 10 declined and 5 remained unchanged. Some 984,315 shares and debentures valued at Tk 6.80 crore changed hands as against 1,792,946 shares worth Tk 7.96 crore on the previous trading day. Market capitalisation stood at Tk 51.91 billion. |
