Dhaka (UNB) – Chairman of the parliamentary standing committee on Commerce Ministry Raziuddin Ahmed MP tonight (Sunday) hosted a reception in honor of Baroness Uddin, member of the House of Lords.

Politicians, MPs, academics and senior journalists attended the reception.

Baroness Uddin, the first-ever British-Bangladeshi Member of the upper house of British Parliament, and Oona King MP, Member of the House of Commons representing Bethnal Green and Bow in London, are now here on a seven and four-day visit respectively.
