Dhaka, Apr 19 (UNB) – Although the gainers outnumbered the losers, trading at Dhaka Stock Exchange finished lower today. All Share Price Index at the country’s main bourse shed 2.35 points or 0.44 percent to close at 518.50 points from Tuesday’s 520.85 points. Of the 167 listed securities traded today, 74 advanced, 70 declined and 23 remained unchanged. Some 1,919,609 shares and debentures valued at Tk 8.89 crore were traded as against 1,700,970 shares worth Tk 6.92 crore on the previous trading day. Ima Food (337,000), BD Welding (285,500), Miracle Ind. (189,000), Gachihata (141,100), Gen Knit (133,250) and Rangpur Foundry (114,500) were among the volume leaders. Market capitalization stood at Tk 48.64 billion as against Tk 48.86 billion on Tuesday.
