“
In fact, we have a lot of successes” in US investment in Bangladesh,
which has increased to 750 million dollars, he said adding, “It will be
a lot more than that if the projects that are now on line and are proposed
go forward.” The
US envoy made the remarks while opening the US Trade Center here on the US
Embassy compound this morning. The
American companies are currently engaged in oil and gas,
telecommunications and power sectors, and setting up of private container
terminal in Chittagong. About

with America. Bangladesh’s export to the US is 1.9 billion dollars while
US export to Bangladesh is about 300 million dollars. The

services. The
center will provide market information, statistics and database about

as American export to Bangladesh. Leading
