Apr 25 (UNB) – After two days fall, the main index at the Dhaka Stock
Exchange marked a slight rise today (Tuesday) despite the losers dominated
over the gainers. All
Share Price Index at the country’s main bourse gained 0.12 points or
0.02 per cent to close at 519.47 points from Monday’s 519.35 points. Of
the 163 listed securities traded today, 71 declined, 60 advanced and 32
remained unchanged. Some
1,357,036 shares and debenture valued at Tk 9.25 crore changed hands as
against 1,059,355 shares worth Tk 7.24 crore on the previous trading day. Rahim
Food (182,000), Quashem Silk (121,600) and BD Wielding (115,500) were
among the day’s volume leaders. There
are no significant gainers and losers. Market
capitalisation stood at Tk 48.73 billion from Tk 48.72 billion on Monday. |
