Apr 26 (UNB) – The downward trend at Chittagong Stock Exchange continued
for the fourth straight day today as losers marginally outnumbered the
gainers. All
Share Price index at the country’s second bourse shed 5.09 points or
0.46 percent to close at 1086.84 points from 1091.93 points on Tuesday. Of
the 59 listed securities traded today, 22 gained, 23 declined and 14
remained unchanged. Some
461,205 shares and debentures worth Tk 2.69 crore changed hands as against
520,707 shares valued at Tk 3.25 crore on the previous trading day. Market
capitalization stood at Tk 40.12 billion as against Tk 40.29 billion on
Tuesday.
