Apr 27 (UNB) – Week’s at Dhaka Stock Exchange closed today marking a
rise in its benchmark. All
Share Price Index at the country’s main bourse rose by 2.17 points or
0.41 per cent to close at 521.10 points from Wednesday’s 518.93 points. Of
the 168 listed securities traded today, 77 advanced, 63 declined and 28
remained unchanged. Some
1,375,396 shares and debenture valued at Tk 9.34 crore changed hands as
against 1,057,360 shares worth Tk 8.21 crore on the previous trading day. Beximco
Pharma (137,850) BD Welding (88,500), NBL (78,860), Miracle Ind (72,000)
and Rahima Food (67,800) were among the volume leaders. Market
capitalisation stood at Tk 48.88 billion from Tk 48.73 billion on
Wednesday. |
