Apr 27 (UNB) – The price index at Chittagong Stock Exchange closed
higher today as the gainers outnumbered the losers. All
Share Price index at the country’s second bourse rose by 8.74 points or
0.80 percent to close at 1095.57 points from 1086.84 points on Wednesday. Of
the 63 listed securities traded today, 45 gained, 12 declined and six
remained unchanged. Some
623,470 shares and debentures worth Tk 3.02 crore changed hands as against
461,205 shares valued at Tk 2.69 crore on the previous trading day. Market
capitalization stood at Tk 40.42 billion as against Tk 40.12 billion on
Wednesday. |
