April 30, 2000 Chittagong, Apr 29 (UNB) – Day’s trading at the Chittagong Stock Exchange finished lower today (Saturday) posting a fall in its benchmark index. All Share Price Index at the country’s second bourse shed 2.08 points or 0.19 percent to close at 1093.49 points from Thursday’s 1095.57 points. Of the 63 listed securities traded today, 23 gained, 32 declined and eight remained unchanged. Some 606,750 shares and debentures worth Tk 3.22 crore changed hands as against 632,470 shares valued at Tk 3.02 crore. Market capitalization stood at Tk 40.35 billion as against Tk 40.42 billion on Thursday.
