April 4, 2000 Dhaka,
Apr 3 (UNB) – Day’s trading at the Dhaka Stock Exchange finished
higher today marking slight rise in its benchmark. All
Share Price Index at the country’s main bourse rose by 1.23 points or
0.23 percent to close at 520.92 points from Sunday’s 519.69 points. Of
the 169 listed securities traded today, 74 declined, 67 advanced and 28
remained unchanged. Some
1,133,410 shares and debentures valued at Tk 7.23 crore were transacted as
against 1,273,134 shares valued at Tk 8.17 crore on the previous trading
day. Market
capitalization stood at Tk 48.13 billion as against Tk 48.02 billion on
the previous trading day.
