Apr 5 (UNB) – Trading at Chittagong Stock Exchange finished lower today
(Wednesday) amid slumping trade. All
Share price index at the country’s second bourse dropped 4.97 points or
0.45 percent to close at 1083.15 points from Tuesday’s 1088.12 points. Of
the 57 listed securities traded today, 16 gained, 33 declined and eight
remained unchanged. Some
561,806 shares valued at Tk 4.18 crore changed hands as against 581,461
shares worth Tk 2.75 crore on the previous trading day. Market capitalization stood at Tk 39.78 billion as against Tk 39.95 billion on Tuesday.
